Yes. Once your order details are confirmed, our design technicians create a set of shop drawings that show the exact dimensions, layout, and orientation of your stair. This step is essential—it ensures the stair will start and end exactly where you need it and fit your site conditions properly

What’s the first step to ordering?

Start by filling out our online request form—it’s quick and helps us understand your project needs. After you submit it, our team will review the details with you, confirm any custom options, and walk you through the next steps.

We use a staged deposit system that aligns with key project milestones:

30% at contract signing – initiates project setup and enters your job into our workflow

30% at shop drawing approval – after you’ve reviewed and approved the final design

30% before coating and shipping – once fabrication is complete and finishes are ready to be applied

10% once your stair is on-site and verified

This phased approach keeps your project moving forward and ensures clear communication at each step.

Can I change where I step off at the bottom?

Yes. The step-off point can be adjusted based on your floor-to-floor height, the number of treads, and the angle or degree of the stair. Our sales and design teams work with you to refine this once we have your site information—helping you end up exactly where you need to go.

How long does it take to receive my stairs?

Typical lead time is 5-8 weeks, depending on the materials and upgrades selected. Oversize or complex designs or custom finishes may take a bit longer; aluminum models require 1-2 additional weeks; adding a galvanized undercoat will add 2-3 weeks.

What if I need to replace a tread later on?

Wood, composite, and pre-cast concrete treads ares** all modular and replaceable. If a tread is damaged or worn, you can remove and swap it without altering the rest of the stair. Just contact us with your stair model and tread type, and we’ll provide a matching replacement along with installation instructions.
